PHILIPSBURG:---  On Tuesday, June 1st, Dutchbased foundation Childfund Sint Maarten hosted a ceremony at the Helmich Snijders Hillside Christian School, where the chairman, Mr. GerritJan Greven, presented 26 schools with vouchers for school uniforms. PHILIPSBURG:--- On January 20, 2021, the Philipsburg Jubilee Library opened the doors of its first satellite for public use at in Cay Hill and surrounding neighborhoods. A Satellite Library is a decentralized location of the main library, to improve accessibility and visibility in the community and to promote, stimulate, and encourage reading.

CAY HILL:--- in an effort to increase the safety of staff, visitors, and all pedestrians, St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) has facilitated the installation of two pedestrian crossings on the Welgelegen Road.
